Futsal is a form of soccer used mostly by the Brazilians. The Brazilians attribute their soccer success to the sport of Futsal. Futsal is a 5 v. 5 (including Goalie) game played on a smoother surface than turf or grass, such as a basketball court. The Futsal ball is smaller, and heavier than a soccer ball which helps the players control. Futsal develops more individual skill and better footwork than soccer. Futsal training during the soccer off season is an excellent way to become the ultimate soccer player.
